I grew up in Grandville, MI, graduating from Calvin Christian High School. I did my undergraduate study at Calvin College, and then went to Palmer College of Chiropractic, where I received my doctor of chiropractic degree.
I received my first chiropractic adjustment at the age of 8 because someone told my parents that chiropractic could help my chronic winter cough. It did! Then in 7th grade I started having headaches, which I later connected to a fall in gym class. I returned for more chiropractic care, and have continued ever since. I am so grateful to my parents and to God for giving me the gift of chiropractic. In high school I decided to pursue chiropractic because I like the natural approach to health care that it provides. I started my practice in 1981, and have been privileged to care for thousands of patients since then.
In my free time you might find me out on my bicycle, it’s my favorite form of exercise. I also enjoy hiking and golf. I’m also active in my church and have gone on several mission trips, including chiropractic mission trips to Jamaica, Ukraine, and Kenya. (These were through the Christian Chiropractors Associations, of which I am a member.)
I look forward to being able to care for you and your family for years to come, helping you to a better life through chiropractic as I have had. Please call today to start your care!
